Faith is defined in the Bible. It is facing the unseen world with confidence because God promised you this is the way to go. It is letting go of all logic to be obedient. It is embracing a life of unplanned and unforeseen greatness because you know the Holy Spirit is with you. It is loyalty to God over any person, religion, or tradition. The reality of faith is true hope. It is lived out by a life of prayer.
Faith is what makes a person righteous. We cannot approach God without it. There is still a curtain between the people who lack faith and God because God cannot be in the presence of evil. Until we accept salvation, we are wicked. We are enemies of God, even if we are "good people".
Faith allows the impossible to be possible. It leads us to do uncreditable things. It allows you to understand the universe in a way that only God can reveal. On the other hand it is faith that condemns the world because it reveals the truth to life. It calls you to live a life of obedience. It is meant to be worked so that it will grow.
Faith is rewarded with blessings and eternal peace and comfort. It gives us assurance that life would steal from us. Our assurance comes from the promises of God since the beginning of time. It leads to a virtuous life of worship, being at peace with death, and a resurrection in Heaven to never be parted from Jesus again.
