Acknowledge God

You do not have to acknowledge who God is for Him to be God.  He exist.  He is the creator of life.  He is everything the Bible declares Him.  Satan however is thrilled when you ignore God.  You become his, but you were never meant to be Satan's soul.
Live without God is only existing.  It does not contain the vibrancy that life with God does.  He made you to be something special, important, to be you.  You may not be in the spot light.  The world may not know your name, but He knows every hair on your head.  He made you separate from anything else in the world.  That is sanctification.  When you accept Him, then you embrace your sanctification and allow it into your heart.
When you become a Christian you are sanctified, but it doesn't stop there.  You are meant to grow in your relationship with God.  It matures you.  It changes you into a person that resembles Jesus more everyday.  Eternity starts the moment you are created, but your eternal life with Jesus starts at the moment of salvation.
To acknowledge God you need to ask yourself what parts of my life resemble the Bible?  The bad parts that God warns against?  Or the parts that resemble God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit?  Do I live for myself or for God?  These questions are answered by your moral code, so even if you do not want to answer them, the people closest to you could.  God is the savior.  Do you invest your time into your savior or only yourself?
To acknowledge God you look into knowing His path for you instead of always taking your own path.  Even Christians mess up and take their own path sometimes.  It is part of the growing process.  Work through that and figure it out between yourself and God.  Do not be a wishy washy Christian that falls for manipulation or overlooks sin.  Face it and work to remove it through prayer and action.
Acknowledging God requires prayer.  Prayer for evangelism, submission, and everything in between.  You pray for yourself, others, and God's will over all.  Live a life of desire to know God.  Don't just chose the parts that you like and ignore everything else.  Do not live religion.  Live by faith.  Do not just accept wrong ideas, myths, traditions, or lifestyles.  Compare everything to the Bible and figure out how you want to live your life for God.
It comes down to seeking God.  He sought you first.  Once you accept Him, then you need to start seeking Him and never stop.  If you stop, then it shows that you do not love Him like He loves you.  Test yourself, so that no one else can.  Know your own heart, mind, and soul.  Ask Him to show you things about yourself that will help you live a life of obedience.  Pray all the rebellion out of yourself, so you can fully live in Jesus.
