God is the almighty. He has complete power. He is omnipotent. He is what makes anything worth happening to happen. He is the reason you are alive.
Abram was 99 years old when God confirmed His covenant with Abram through a son. This was Abram's first and only son in which nations would come from. God chose Abram because he was blameless and faithful. His reward was salvation, but on Earth it was to be the father of nations. This covenant became an everlasting covenant: blessings through circumcision. Cut out your sin and you will be blessed. Sin always causes pain and requires blood for redemption.
Sarai gave birth to Isaac at 90. Her and Abram had basically given up on every having children, but God was just waiting to show what He can do. He is the father of miracles after all. What we consider miracles are just considered a small aspect in God's big plan. If it is something so small to Him, then can you imagine what He would consider a big deal? Salvation and putting Him first is what is a big deal to Him.
Abram has another son through a servant because Sarai had become impatient. His name was Ishmael. He was not blessed to carry on as part of God's chosen people, but he was still blessed because he was a part of Abram's bloodline. The Almighty never forgets anyone.
God Almighty was with Moses. Moses showed us how to have a relationship with God even when it was not normal or as easy as it is today. God established another covenant through Moses. The Almighty is the covenant maker to give us access to Him. The covenant with Moses was about freedom. The one with Abram was about being God's people.
God chose Moses which at the time was the most unlikely choice. He had killed someone, so we know he had a temper or at the very least reactive. He was insecure. He had a speech impediment. He was unappreciated by his people or family. Yet, he relied on God completely. His faith was stronger than any of his flaws or weaknesses. He was never alone because God Almighty knew what he needed.
The Almighty handles the big miracles and the small details. He will never leave you alone. He will be with you and He will provide people when you need them or if they may need you. No matter what He is always your refuge. He is timeless. He is eternal. He is power. He is the ruler.
