Acquit

Acquit is "to hold guiltless".  God hold the power to acquit anyone.  However, when people show true repentance for doing you wrong, do you acquit them?  It is not as easy for us to forgive and forget, but God erases our sins when we show true repentances and acceptance of the truth.
Life passes swiftly.  Happiness is fleeting.  We need to hold onto the good and let go of the bad.  We all have bad things in our life.  The only difference for a Christian is that we experience them with God instead of alone.  Forget your complaints in life and find cheer.  There is always something to be grateful for.  You can dread pain or you can embrace life with innocence.
You can't argue or fight the trials in life.  They may make you feel guilty of something even if you are innocent.  The point is to turn to Jesus and find you acquittal.  He is the mediator between you and God.  He brings us together.  That truth can remove your terror in life.  It is good to speak to Him without fear.  Take strength in your relationship to be honest with Him and yourself.
Nahum had a vision about a nation being acquitted.  God is jealous, but not in the way we are. His jealousy is Holy.  All He wants for us is for us to seek Him.  He will give us everything we need and more, if only we will turn to him instead of other people, false gods, or things.
His jealousy turns to vengeance to get the attention of people.  He will strike down those that oppose Him in His anger.  He does get angry, but it takes a lot to get Him there.  That is why it deserves to be feared.  His power is great, so if we turn to Him then His anger will subside.  If not, then it can destroy everything and it will one day.

Job 9:25-35 & Nahum 1:1-6
