How to Forgive

When you ask God to forgive you of all your sins, they are nailed on the cross with Jesus' broken and bloody body.  His blood pours over your sins and covers them, erasing them from God's memory.  That is why we need to learn how to forgive.  We forgive for the sake of our relationship with God.
It is your choice to believe in the truth.  It is your choice to kneel to God now or later when it is too late.  It is better to acknowledge sin as sin, that you have sinned, and seek forgiveness now rather than later.  It is better because forgiveness from God cleans your soul.  It enables you to live life fully.
Forgiveness changes lives.  It puts you in the position of blessings.  If you seek forgiveness, then you are able to receive and see the blessings for what they are.  If you are the one forgiving it opens your heart and enables to to receive and give blessings.  Blessings are the favor in life and eternity.  They make everything better.
Jesus cares more about your heart and soul than he does about your body.  He will allow you to face the consequences of sin to help you see how much better it is to find forgiveness and to give it.  Salvation can heal any soul wound.  The body can be healed.  That does not mean that there will not be scars, but God can take care of the scars too.  You just have to let Him.
Forgiveness from God is immediate.  You don't have to work for it.  You just have to be willing to see the error of your sinful ways and do everything you can to change after you get the salvation.  There is no point wasting time and energy trying to create something you can't.  Give it to God and He will make the changes by releasing you from the curse of eternal death.
It is okay to be viewed by the world as crazy if you are following Jesus.  The world though he was crazy at times.  It is okay because you see God's glory and that is better than looking normal.  If trusting God to meet your needs is crazy, then we should all strive to be crazy.
Forgiving is considered odd by the world's standards, but it also brings people to Jesus.  Forgiveness should be celebrated because it brings joy into your life.  We should be able to go to church to embrace forgiveness.  This is how the church can be a soul hospital.  It is where we should come together and give our testimonies of what God has done in our lives.
Get out of the shadows of guilt.  Don't let it hold you back.  Call out in God's name and find freedom from the guilt of the sins that He has forgiven you for.  Embrace your salvation and use it to forgive people that have wronged you.
