Personal Invitation

Your relationship with God is personal.  He meets you where you are and initiates the relationship.  He is with you as you grow.  He never abandons or disappoints.  He is where you go for the source of all you need.
When you need rest, then go to God.  He will take away your burdens, weariness, ladens, and depression.  You just have to let Him.  Stop saying you want to give it to Him, then keep carrying it.  Give it to Him and let Him have it.  Just because it is a burden to you, does not mean it is a burden to Him.  He wants to take any unnecessary heaviness off your shoulders.  Let Him.
God will deliver on every promise made, so if He promised to always be with you and help you throughout life, then He will.  When you want to quit, are discouraged, or burned out then lean into God.  He will give you a second wind or remove the burden completely.  His message to you is personal.  You just need to listen.
When Jesus was physically weary from a long journey, he sat at a well and sent his disciples to get him food.  He was traveling through Samaria back to Galilee.  It was noon, so it was already hot and isolated because people were in their homes.  Jesus was sitting at a well when a woman appeared.
Jesus got his second wind through the conversation with the woman.  He was physically tired, but mentally and spiritually sharp.  He may even had maneuvered the whole thing just to have that conversation with her so that he could offer her salvation.  She lived a life that held a bad reputation and he was giving her the chance to start over and do better.  She no longer had to feel desperate enough to do immoral things to survive.  Jesus knew it all, but he still met her in a way she would listen to him and not be hard at heart.
The thing is men did not respect women in that culture and he treated her with respect.  He was not a Jew.  Jews did not associate with Gentiles and he spoke to her first.  Everything about the conversation went against everything about that time.  That is how Jesus made it personal.  He defied common culture law to be there for a woman that needed him more than anyone else in that moment.
Making it personal is how you know God truly loves you.  When you feel hopeless. remember that God love you and it there with you.  He knows your mind, body, and soul all need rest.  If you follow the Holy Spirit's prompting, then you will find it.  When you feel rejected, hopeless, like a failure, then let the Holy Spirit give you a sense of calm, a quiet place, and peace for the weary heart.
Life is full of burdens.  Life is hard.  Day in and day out people want things from you.  There is always some illness.  Health failure will drain you unlike anything else.  Work can be too much.  Then there are other relationships, injury, politics, and even religion that can drain you.
This all needs to be handed over to God.  Jesus is your doctor.  You can find the recipe for success, healing, and rest through the scripture.  Go to Him before you go to a doctor.  He may still prompt you to go to the doctor, but he may just save you some stress and money.  Jesus understand what you are going through right now.  He is listening.  Will you listen to him on how to make things better?
