Growing up in the fallen world leaves people with unrealistic ideas about how life should turn out. It turns into hurt, disappointed, or looking for a way through with no purpose. God confronts assumptions about life, so that everyone can face it realistically. He wants you to see the truth, so He will use whatever method that will get your attention.
God will use circumstances, situations, and people to help you find the truth about life, so that you will start investing your life into what matters. The truth gives you freedom that the world's methods can not. You are not super human. You are not a god. You have limitations, but boundaries help make the limitations understandable, bearable, and life more functional.
You need boundaries to see the rewards of following God. Boundaries help you live longer and healthier. It helps cure dysfunction in families and society. Boundaries place value on life, but not just your life. It gives value to all life. That is why boundaries are a gift from God and not a burden. It is only when they are not respected or acknowledged that we have problems.
It is time to confront your faulty assumptions about life. Take what is confusing, hard, or problematic for you to God. Give Him what makes you happy, content, and gives purpose to your life to make sure that they are actually gifts from Him and not just self-gratification.
God is the fixer of all things. He will turn problems into solutions. He will turn happy into joy. It will give purpose a life. His way is better than your way. If He is redirecting you, then it will beneficial to follow. Don't hold onto what you own so hard that you loose everything. Instead invest into your salvation and trust Him to take care of the details.
God teaches statues, responsibility, purpose, joy, faithfulness, and love. His laws give boundaries that are beneficial for your mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical health. It is your choice to accept and follow His way or not. It is His way or your way. There is no codependency. There is a relationship that you can focus on investing into.
It is your responsibility in how you invest your life and following God is the best investment into your health, life, and impacting the world. Investing into money is not the way to success, but working hard to provide for a life brings accomplishment. Divide your investments into different areas and you will never be poor. That includes financial, time, energy, and more. Invest in yourself by living a healthy life: diet, reading, ,what you listen to, exercise, friends, and work.
Listen to wise advise to avoid trouble along life's journey. Earn respect by thinking before you act and searching for wisdom. A righteous person walking in wisdom brings healing to others. Live a quiet and peaceful life of obedience to God to really succeed in life. When you die you can't take anything with you, so strive to leave something behind to help the next generation: material, wisdom, knowledge, and purpose.
