Message of Jesus

 

    The message of Jesus was that he turned the Word into Flesh.  He made God's Word attainable in the sense that he lived and breathed it.  He taught us how to live it by teaching us how to understand the truth.

    Jesus is eternal.  He always was, is, and will be.  He works directly with God and the Holy Spirit, so you know that you can trust his message.  We will never fully comprehend the vastness of eternity, heave, or hell until we face it.  We are very linear people, so it is hard to understand something like God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit that do not stay in the lines and are so far beyond a single linear line.  

    Don't try to understand what you are not meant to understand right now.  Focus on the message of Jesus.  Learn the lessons and follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit who will open your eyes, ears, and mind.  Give your worship and reverence to God.  That is what you can understand.  We are human.  He is God.  He didn't have to give us Jesus.  He did not have to provide us with the understanding that He gave us.  Rejoice in all that He does in, through, and for your life.

    Jesus' message holds power and life.  He revealed all kinds of revelations about the trinity and who God is.  He came as a gift to lead all willing people to salvation, but he was rejected by the world.  He is still being rejected by the world.  If you choose to accept salvation and follow him, then you need to expect to be rejected by the world.  He lived it first.  He showed us how to endure.

    Jesus had help in his message.  John the Baptist cleared the way for his big entrance as God and not just a man.  He tried to get people to understand what was coming.  Jesus' disciples continued on with his message after him to make more disciples (followers of Jesus).  If you hear the message of Jesus and accept it, then you embrace his light, his sacrifice, and salvation.  You choose to follow his path to show other people the way.

    The world is dark and wicked because it is fully tainted by sin.  Jesus' message is the light in that darkness.  All you have to do is tell the world what Jesus has done in your life.  Share what he teaches you.  Live a transparent life, so you can't be accused of hypocrisy.  Then you leave the rest to the Jesus.  If people accept Jesus, then the Holy Spirit will guide them in the changes that they need to make.  You job is done unless they seek you as a mentor, teacher, or trainer.

    The message of Jesus is faith leads to salvation.  Salvation is magical in a holy way because it is soft and subtle, but it changes everything about you: mind, heart, and soul.  It is mysterious because you don't even see all the changes that happen in you.  You don't understand everything, but you accept it.  You embrace how it transforms you with hope and cheer.  The Message of Jesus is the "Good News".  The Good News is his love became human to save us.
