Salvation Through Jesus

Jesus told us that he is the only way to salvation.  He is God, so that means that he can't lie.  Many false prophets throughout time have told you that there are several different ways for you to get to heaven.  They are false prophets because they do not speak on God's behalf and their lies lead people astray.
You may think that you are a good person and that God will never allow a good person to go to hell.  The problem is that you are a good person on your scale of what is good.  You compare yourself to other people and see that your character is less scandalous.  That does not matter.  You have to compare yourself to God's standards and see your need for him.  Only then can you really know Jesus and accept the truth.
Every Christian path is different because we are meant to work in different compacities.  We are meant to have impact on different people's lives.  We are all unique with our own experiences, so the growth, strengths, and weaknesses will be different.  That does not mean that you are not follow Jesus on the same foundational path.
Salvation is a miracle.  We all have sinned and fallen short of God's expectations.  We all deserve eternity in hell.  It is a miracle that God, the creator of all living things, loves us enough to want to save our souls.
He did not create us to be slaves.  If he did, then He would not have given us free will.  He wants us to worship Him, but is it not to empower Him.  It is not to feed His vanity.  It is so that we can live a clearer and joyful life.  He is the only way to have all the hollowness within you to be filled with what is good in life.
Nicodemus was a part of the Sanhedrin.  He met Jesus and asked some really smart questions.  He became a believer, but had to live his faith in secret.  I think he wanted to make changes slowly from within or just did not know how to follow Jesus openly and not walk away from everything and everyone he knew.  He would have been a baby Christian when Jesus did, but he really stepped up at that time.
Nicodemus is the one that loaned Jesus his tomb.  He was reborn into purity.  Once he understood what it was all about, then he embraced the faith.  He struggled with the who rebirth part, but so would anyone else who had never heard that as a child or had it explained to them.
When you put your faith in Jesus and start following him, then your soul is reborn.  It gets to start over like a new born baby to relearn what life is all about and how to live for Jesus.  You have to grow up and mature.  It will take the rest of your life walking with him and growing into the person you were created to be.  It is a spiritual rebirth.
If you never believe in Jesus, then you have made your choice and you will deal with the consequences.  If you reject Jesus, then you are embracing a life of evil and evil will never be allowed to enter Heaven.  Evil is a slave to sin which is controlled by Satan.  Jesus is the only way to freedom.  This freedom is offered to everyone.
It is God's will for your life to find salvation.  It is His desire for your life that you can live a fully joyful life in companionship with JesusCan you see it?  Can you see your life in Heaven?  Can you see the best version of yourself?  It starts here for us, but is completed when we get home (Heaven).
Jesus came to complete the law of Moses.  He came to show us our need for God to live a full life.  He came to teach us what true love is, so that we no longer have to live a rigid religious life, but a thriving life of faith.  We still obey God's laws and regulations to the smallest detail, but now we do it out of love instead of fear and duty.  We do it to live a righteous life and introduce Jesus to the world through love, acts of obedience, and faithfulness.  Work hard on your salvation to please God, be close to Jesus, and hear the Holy Spirit.
