Today lets behold the glory of Jesus. He had a glorious birth, ministry, and resurrection. He is miraculous because he is God in human flesh, living a human life. He it eternal as part of the trinity as God incarnate. He never was truly born, only in the way that made him human.
The miracle of Jesus' birth is that he is God contained in a human fetus, then baby to grow up like a normal child. He was a man just like any other man, but truly holy and held the power of God. He was born to a virgin because the Holy Spirit helped him into Mary's womb without harming her. The Greek term for Mary's virgin pregnancy is Parthenos.
Jesus' birth was as miraculous as the creation of the world. It is now a standpoint of the Christian faith as a new act of creation. The birth of Jesus also birthed the faith of Christianity. It did not become a living unite of people being a part of God's adopted family until his resurrection. Jesus is a miracle. The birth, life, death, and resurrection of Jesus gave people who accepted his gift of salvation a new life. It gave them eternal life instead of eternal death.
Jesus came into this world ready to work, but he had to take the time to grow up like any human boy. He needed his brain, hormone, and relationships to mature. He would not be relatable to people if he was born to be only God in the world. People needed to be able to connect and relate to him in different ways.
Jesus' entire human existence fulfilled all the prophecies that were placed to prove who he is. He did not miss one prophecy. When he left, he gave people a few more to know what to look for and expect when he returns.
Jesus' life connected people in a new way to angels. We are not to ever worship an angel, but we should respect them. They are powerful creatures with intelligence and their own personalities that God created. Gabriel was one of three that were ever mentioned by name. He held great importance to the miracle of Immanuel's birth and childhood. Immanuel means that "God is with us".
We need to respect and hold a healthy fear of them because they are powerful, but not all of them are good. Satan is an angel, but he led other angels to turn against God. He introduced sin into the world. Not all angels want to help you. Some angels want to harm you, so put all your trust in God for protection.
Jesus is the savior of people. He helps people escape the captivity of being sin's (Satan's) prisoner. That truth should encourage people to have gratitude, grace, and faith. Christians should live like people released from prison. We should live a better life to show our gratitude to God for the new chance in life.
Throughout Jesus' life he performed all kinds of miracles. He healed people. He turned water into wine. He never held back a miracle for people who held faith and really needed it. He will not save everyone's life because we all still have to pay the consequences of our sins. We all have to die in our human body, but our soul will get a new body in Heaven.
Christians will not face eternal death which is a miracle too. We all deserve death, but Jesus loves us enough to go through the worst human death to give us all the opportunity to escape what we deserve. That is why his death is a miracle. No man could kill him unless he allowed it. He allowed torture, pain, weakness, humiliation, and more so we all can have a different eternity than the one we deserve. Faith in Jesus gives us an extraordinary life.
