Jesus lived the message of love, compassion, boundaries, prayer, sacrifice, and discipline. His message is the message of hope and salvation, but also consequences. It is a serious message that people should not ignore. The Bible needs caution signs on the cover. Maybe then people would take it more seriously.
Rejection is serious. If you reject Jesus and his message, then you will be rejected when it is your time to face judgment. If you are a Christian that follows Jesus, then know that God is never rejecting you. He is redirecting you toward what will bring you closer to Him. If people reject you, then that is just less people that you have to keep up with. They have chosen their path and you have chosen yours.
It is foolish to reject Jesus. It holds eternal consequences. Eternity is a long time to regret a choice. Why not put your faith in Jesus and receive the power of the Holy Spirit? The Holy Spirit will help you become more like Jesus. Jesus already paid the price for the gift of Salvation. All you have to do is accept it.
Jesus was not a martyr. He was a sacrifice. He allowed what happened to him to happen for your benefit. He rose himself from the dead and conquered death on that day. It is just a matter of time before he strips death of its power. Satan will not continue as he does right now forever. His time of power is limited.
Jesus is now in heaven preparing you a room in God's house if you accepted the sacrifice he made. If you are a Christian, then you are adopted into God's family. If you reject Jesus, then you will never experience the peace and joy that comes with being a part of his family.
The importance of Jesus' message is to make room for Jesus in your heart. He is the foundation of faith. He is the only way to Heaven, but your personalized journey or path will not look like anyone else's path. Our lives are different, but Jesus being a part of your life is what makes life worth living.
Jesus is the great physician. If you are mentally or emotionally distress, then he can heal it. If you are sick, he can heal you. If Jesus does not heal, then he is redirecting you to perseverance. Not everything you go through is about you. You persevere sometimes to become stronger, show other people the way, or get closer to God faster.
Jesus is the teacher of life, salvation, and after. He is a farmer. He planted the truth, he allows it to grow in those who accept him, and one day he will harvest us to take us to perfection. He is the righteous judge. He gave us the Holy Spirit to be our counselor. He is a servant and sacrifice to show people the way.
Jesus is the truth that leads to joy, wisdom, and love. He unites people and separates people at the same time. If you are a Christian, then you are automatically united with other Christians. You just have to keep working to stay united. At the same time it automatically separates you from the world. If you don't embrace that, then you are insulting Jesus' sacrifice.
