Creationism Day 5: Part 1

On the fifth day of creation, God filled the world with living creatures.  He began with the sea and winged animals.  Like the plants, they were each created among their own kind.  There was no evolution involved.  Animals do change like people to adapt to their environment, but they were created as they were.  They didn't develop from a different animal or thing.
God created the sea and air creatures to populate the world.  He gave them abundance and a consciousness of who He is and the world they lived in.  He blessed them because God blesses what He creates.  God commanded life and they lived.  They each had their own design and the same stands true today.
The fish of the sea came in a variety and abundance.  They are designed to live in water.  Their scales are meant to protect them like skin, but for a wet atmosphere.  Their gills are an outward network for lungs.  They divide the oxygen from water, so that they can breath.  Today we have about 9,000 species of fish.  It makes you wonder how many there were when God created them on the fifth day.
The coloring of fish is not a mistake.  The coloring is for camouflage, beauty, and variety.  There are fresh water and salt water fish.  Neither can live in the other's atmosphere.  Life is a delegate balance.  Different fish have different skills to help them survive where they are.
When fish lay their eggs, they lay a lot.  Biologically their bodies know only a small amount will survive.  Predators eat the eggs, some never get fertilized, and the ones that do hatch are vulnerable.  Only a fraction survive long enough to become adult fish.  They have their own world underwater.
Sea creatures could be monsters or they could be sharks, whale, or other very large creatures like octopus or squid. Some think they could be like dragons, but in the water.   Whales are considered big fish, but who knows in the beginning.
A sea serpent is a very large and scary sea creature.  Levithan is the most common name for a sea servant.  They are twisted serpents that live or lived in the seas.  They are considered monsters.  They appear very scary and if you don't respect God's creations, then they can be scary.  However, if you put your trust in God and respect what He created, then you have nothing to fear.
