When you read the Bible, don't just read the book, do the book by becoming invested into it. Your relationship with God matters, so ask Him questions. He is willing to give you all the wisdom that you can handle. Grow close and have an intimate prayer life. Only then will your relationship with God bring joy to your heart. It is that joy that fights the negativity of the world.
When you build a strong faith and join with other people that hold the faith, then you create a culture. It is living out church, not just going to a building for a sermon. When you start building a Christlike culture, then Satan will attack with anxiety and other things that will wear at your mind. He will try to make you only see what is wrong, so you are not thankful for all that God has given you.
Life is not perfect, so what. Will you live it to spite God because of the choices that you and all the people you know made it where it is not perfect? Or will you choose to love and seek to be near God, so you can treasure perfect moments, His promises, and have a true hope for eternity?
Smiling at people is a way to share your faith. Let people see you live out your joy even when everything in your life may be falling apart. It is shocking because most "Christians" today live in the world like everyone else. A true and faithful Christian will stand out. They will not need to defend their faith because everyone can see them living it out.
Don't meltdown or live in emotional turmoil. Our world is unsteady. It will tear you to shreds if you allow it. Instead find your firm foundation in God. He can help you stay emotionally stable. Since Covid destroyed all society, only about 20% of the church has returned to attending church. It is probably a lot less that actually live out the church culture.
Church doesn't need to become a habit, tradition, or security blanket. Church needs to be a community of Christians living life together. If you isolate yourself, then you have no support. The people that were in your life do not know how to pray for you. They don't know what to do to help make life more bearable.
You should be in church not out of guilt or to check out a list of things that look good. You go to church for fellowship, worship, and to honor God's will. If you are not happy in church, then pray about it. Pray is the key to positive change. Pray about your attitude too. There is no room for selfishness in church.
Feed your own spirit in God's Word and prayer through the week, so when you do go to church you don't have to work or pretend to worship. Allow your heart to have adoration for God when you wake up every morning.
Align your priorities to what you will have in Heaven over what you can have on Earth. Access your day and choose to be grateful and to forgive. Place the armor of God on you every morning before leaving your house, so you can be delivered from evil. Lastly, acknowledge that you belong to God. You are His.
This is how you are able to live in this world and share your life with others in a way that will lead people to God. Tell the people that are interested all that God has done in your life, how He has redeemed you. Don't choose to live like an exile. Share the experiences that you have shared with God, so people can understand that they have same option to choose God.
