Time with God

Spending time with God should be a part of your daily routine.  It should be a part of your routine, but not done because it is routine.  It should be an intentional step to get closer to God.  It doesn't have to be complicated.  You can start with the Lords prayer (outline on how to pray) and then open the Bible and read where you open.  You can search for information to answer a question placed on your heart.  It is between you and God on how you study.
When you wake up, arise with appreciation in your heart for what you have in that room, your life, companionship, friends, love, and whatever else you notice that is a gift from God.  When you feet hit the floor, nothing has happened yet to distract your attention from God, so it is a good time to worship.  Your time of worship is the most valuable time of your day.
When you take the time to worship God in the morning, then your day will start with gratitude.  It makes the annoying, insulting, rude, and cruel things that occur during the day more bearable because you have a Godly perspective.
By the time you leave your house, you should be able to have a natural smile on your face.  When your conversations start, then you are prepared to tell people why you have the joy in your heart that you hold.  It is because you have allowed God to reign and rule your heart.
Spending time with God cleanses your attitude, actions, words, and more.  You choose to obey Him, so you are aligning your heart to His will.  This allows you to flourish in a way that you would never be able to on your own.
Submitting to God requires humility.  It takes realizing that you really do need God constantly, not just situationally.  You choose to repent your sins.  You see that anything unholy is repulsive to God and you want to honor Him in your daily activities.
The world is where Satan roams seeking to steal, kill, and destroy.  It is the spiritual battle ground  between him and God.  You can't join the fight without the armor of God.  You fight through prayer and seek His protection.  Otherwise you have no chance.  You will be destroyed if you don't seek God's protection.
Your opinion has nothing to do with God's will.  His ways are not your ways.  That is why you have to learn His ways, so you can align yourself to His will.  He is the master, ruler, and king of all nations.  You need to learn how to promote God and not yourself to live a better life.  He has given you a calling and purpose in this world.  To really live, you need to learn what that is and follow it.  There is no reason to wait.
