Agreement

 

    Agreement is to have harmony or accordance in opinion or feeling.  It can be an agreement on an negotiation, contract, business, marriage, or other relationships that legally bind partnerships.  The absence of agreement is inconsistency and discord making things incompatible.  

    Christians have an agreement with God.  We believe that sin is sin and that Jesus dies, resurrected, and ascended.  His part is salvation and truth.  He never lies, so anything He said will happen will happen.  We respond in agreement to God's Word by making a solemn promise to follow Jesus no matter what.  In response to our part, God writes our name in the book of life.  The agreement is a covenant made between God and individuals for eternity.

    Listen to God's message.  All of you that doubt the truth, read and listen to the words that He is saying to you.  You may see it as a way to cheat death, but sin brings death to us all.  You will not dodge the grave.  Destruction to your body will happen.  It is only Jesus that can save your from the eternal destruction.  He is the strong refuge against all lies and deception.  You will agree one day, but it is far better to agree now.  You either have an agreement with death or God, sin or righteousness, scourge or refuge.

    Believers do not need to bond themselves with unbelievers.  How can righteousness partner with wickedness?  How can the light agree with the dark?  There is no harmony between Jesus and Satan.  It is like an union between God's temple and idols.  It does not work.  God is living and idols are nothing.  You can love unbelievers in a brotherly way, but do not tie yourself in a legal bind yourself to them or you will suffer a heavy and unnecessary burden in life. Live in the light.

    Christians are in agreement that Jesus was fully human and is God's son (fully God).  Through him we have the Spirit of truth that lives within our souls.  Our witnesses are the Holy Spirit, water of baptism, and the blood Jesus shed.  Christians believe that this is true.  Everyone else is calling God a liar.  Jesus is the truth verified by the Holy Trinity: God the father, Jesus the son, and the Holy Spirit.  They all work in perfect agreement.
