Sincere Love

Love is not a feeling.  It is a commitment with strong emotional attachments.  Sincere love hates evil.  It hates anything that goes against God's Word.  It hates anything that hurts people.  That is why people whom have sincere love in their hearts should be devoted to each other and serving God as one.
Sincere love is presented through joy, patience, hope, and faithful prayer.  These are not flashy things that say hey look at how much I love this person or God.  It is in the gentle crevices of the heart that are displayed in the small things in life that are so often overlooked.  The main display is hospitality.
When put into practice it is often not that easy.  To love God sincerely requires us to bless those that go out of their way to make our lives more difficult or dangerous.  It requires us to walk with people through life, so that when they mourn you mourn or when they are joyful you are joyful.
To live in harmony means that you have to remove pride from your heart.  You have to do what is right when the world is telling your that it is weakness.  We know the truth.  We are creating an atmosphere of peace over being correct.
You don't have to worry about defending or avenging yourself.  God has that.  He will take care of offenses much better than anything you can think of.  That means be good to your enemy.  Give them food, water, clothing, or anything else that they need.  It only adds coals to their head if your heart is in the right place.  If it is out of spite, then you are allowing evil to overcome you.  Resist by making good deeds a part of who you are.
