God has a great compacity for compassion. He displays compassion to us all the time, but we really notice it when we need it the most. We accept it when we accept the gift of salvation. God always intended salvation to the restoration between Himself and His people.
When we choose God it opens our eyes to a new layer in the world around us. We gain a new perspective. We see His power. He uses that power to provide us with relief from suffering, turmoil, and bondage. He gives us the strength to fight against oppression. He gives us rest when we need it and peace throughout it all.
The world sees God's way as weak, but it takes great strength to do the right thing. Satan represents what is considered strong in this world. His ways are the easier path, but they lead to pain and suffering. You will be lost in the wilderness forever. His ways leads to war where rank in life does not matter. It all ends in death.
God's plan will happen with or without you. The question you need to ask yourself is do you want to be a part of it? Don't rejoice in the destruction of others, even it it may be necessary. Instead rejoice in the poor and needy that get taken care of. Rejoice in those that find refuge. Rejoice in the fact that God has compassion for you.
Isaiah 14
