When God began His creation of the world we know, it was perfect. Every element, particle, smell, sound, and sense was perfection. There were no flaws. Even the human body ran to perfection. There was harmony and peace unlike any of us know today. Knowing that, how could anyone mess that up? Easy, we are easily influenced by the what if and temptation of what could be better than this. We mess up our lives wanting more.
Day 1: God created heaven and earth. The world was formless, just a formation of something to be in the dark that the Holy Spirit hovered over, but it was good. I always wonder did Jesus, God, and the Holy Spirit just live in the void of space before they decided to create this world? That also is based on linear thinking. All we know is a beginning and an end. They are Devine. They have no beginning or end. That changes the way you have to think about it, but I still wonder what they did before humanity.
Day 2: God separated light from dark with declaring it to be so. That is perfection. Things that we consider natural law came into existence by the words being spoken, by the desire of God's imagination. It brought enchantment into existence with day and night. It was good.
Day 3: God separated the land from the water giving the world shape. It was another division that would be considered mesmerizing if we existed at the time. Each step added depth to our world. It now had land mass, water expanse, and sky for depth. It added to the perfection that already existed. All of a sudden there was vegetation and time began in a way humans would be able to comprehend. It was good.
Day 4: God created seasons, weather, away to keep time over what would become years. Beauty became perfection. The thing was the weather was perfect all the time. I do not think that there was really a fall or winter because they introduce death for rebirth. There was no death at this time. I think those two season came after the fall. However, time was set and it was good.
Day 5: Perfection was given life in a new way. Animals were introduced to this world and they were blessed. It was beauty coming to life. This includes dinosaurs. The world had movement, life, and beauty that people who enjoy nature would never tire of being in, around, and watching. It was good.
Day 6: More complex animals were created and introduced to this perfect world. Everything lived in harmony and peace. The last animal to be created was created in the masculine image of God: human (man) and from man God created his feminine image through woman. They were named Adam and Eve. God gave humans everything they could want or need. It was perfection. It was very good.
Day 7: God rested to enjoy all He created. He did not need to rest. He did it to enjoy His creation and to teach humans the importance to make rest a priority. He was happy. Everything He created was happy. Life could not be better. Creation's first week was complete. From here on out we could have lived in perfection forever. Only thing changing would be God adding on because He is the first artist and artist can't stop making art.
