Adversity stands for all sorts of distress and evil. It comes from the Hebrew word "Tsela" Tsela means a halting or fall. It goes on with other forms to become distress, straits, afflictions, bad, harmful, and evil. It normally describes an event or series of events that opposes the desired affect or success. It is tied in with testing and trials to show the true character of a person.
The choice of life or death should not be a difficult choice. It is a choice that we all have the ability to make. There is no secret. The question you have to answer is do you want to go to Heaven or Hell? The answer is on your lips and heart. It is revealed in how you live your life: obedience or rebellion.
Listen, the choice of eternal life and death is your choice. It is a choice of prosperity or disaster in the future. Are you willing to face a little adversity now to prosper in the future? It may feel big, but in the big picture it is only for a short amount of time.
All you have to do is to love God through obedience no matter what adversity you will face. Walk your life with God and your life will multiply in the areas that you give to Him. You will live a blessed life even in adversity.
If you choose to rebel against God's commands, decrees, and regulations, then you will be destroyed. Your life will be cut short. You will not prosper in ways that bring fulfillment. Life is your choice life or death, blessed or cursed. It is up to you today, but the choice will be taken from you once you are dead.
